The DCP-8045D has a 250-page input paper tray with a 150-page output tray, and supports a wide variety of paper types and sizes, including plain paper, recycled paper and transparencies, envelopes, A4, letter, legal, B5, executive, A5, A6, and B6. Connectivity is provided via parallel and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports, while optional network connectivity allows you to utilize the DCP-8045D as a workgroup device. The copier has a fast 21 cpm maximum print speed and is capable of creating up to 99 copies from a single original, saving you time and hassle. With a copy resolution of 1,200 x 600 dpi, your copies are crisp and accurate, and a zoom feature lets you adjust the copy size anywhere from 25% to 400%. Additionally, a 50-page automatic document feeder lets you easily copy multiple page documents with only one button to press. The laser printer has a 2,400 x 600 dpi maximum resolution and 21 ppm maximum print speed. And with the DCP-8045D's automatic duplexing feature, you can also easily print double-sided documents. The built-in scanner has a 48-bit internal color depth and 256 levels of grayscale, as well as 600 x 2,400 dpi optical (9,600 x 9,600 dpi interpolated) resolution that deliver rich, accurate scans, perfect for a wide range of uses. I've had HPs for years. Decided to try this after seeing some reviews. Performace is excellent. Networking easy to set up. I like the Paperport software. Can do quick scan and OCR from any of 6 workstations for up to limit of document feeder tray. Cost of purcahse and operation low. Also like separate drum & cartridge combo.
